About Us

Nutritank was founded in 2016 by our exceptional multi award winning co founders, Dr Ally Jaffee and Dr Iain Broadley. They became acutely aware whilst in medical school that there was a lack of education and awareness regarding nutrition and lifestyle medicine, and how these interventions can be recommended to patients to improve their health. Nutritank is an innovative and trailblazing organisation that fills this gap in education by providing accessible education for medics and other health professionals on various topics pertaining to nutrition and lifestyle medicine, including exercise, sleep and mental wellbeing. Nutritank does this by providing regular webinars to health care professionals and a membership (a hub of information and educational resources and CPD).

Nutritank also works at a grassroots level in 2/3 of medical schools in the UK to ensure the next generation of medics are empowered and equipped. It now has 22 medical school branches with over 1500 medical students and junior doctors signed up to support the cause.

University Societies

Nutritank supports students undertaking healthcare courses by providing frameworks to run their own ‘Nutritank University Society’. Nutritank believes students should be supported as they quickly become Healthcare Professionals seeing patients face-to-face and need knowledge on food, nutrition, and lifestyle medicine to advise their patients best.

The national leader of the Nutritank University societies is Harleen Dhami who is a medical student. She supports all the presidents of each Nutritank University Society with all they need to run a society.
