Rodger’s experience spans an incredible 30-plus years having graduated as a Chartered Physiotherapist, then going on to obtain post graduate qualifications in manual and manipulative therapy. After working in the NHS, Rodger set up The Practice which has since gone to become the leading of its type in Berkshire. His interests soon moved towards helping people with complex integrated health issues. His life’s work has been to look far and wide for answers and he now works exclusively as an expert in the field of trauma, chronic pain and stress illness with a mind-body approach. His skills include various touch therapies, somatic experiencing, sensorimotor psychotherapy, EMDR, brain spotting, polyvagal informed work, parts work, NeuroAffective Touch, Craniosacral/fascial therapies, music and sound therapies, energy medicine modalities, compassionate coaching and, through his own healing hourney, has also spent 20 years in the field of martial arts and uses meditation, midfulness and martial arts including tai chi, Qi gong and other meditational movement forms. Rodger really looks to see the person as a whole and not just a brain, a nervous system, a musculoskeletal system, an immune system or any one system dominating, rather to see the person as a connected being. His work is with people suffering from conditions labelled as Fibromyalgia, chronic pain, ME/CFS, long Covid, Auto-immune diseases, Tourettes, ADHA, anxiety and moos disorders, PTSD, developmental trauma and transgenerational trauma and has particular interestes in working in the field of sexual assault. Rodger’s expertise is complimented by lived experiences having suffered with a debilitating autoimmune condition, leading to a collapse, emergency cardiac unit care and a near death experience. Rodger spent 8-10 years self-healing using the same techniques which his patients benefit from today. he is living proof that the work he specialises in do work. Rodger is passionate about taking a mind-body and trauma informed holistic approach to helping patients. This has revolutionised his work and the lives of many patients.
